Is this winch going to be too small or underpowered for a 60? Not extreme rockcrawling or anything, just security and piece of mind to self recover if need be? I'll probably not use it much. I don't really have the extra cash to get a more expensive Warn, and I am not opposed to Superwinch or t-max, It just seems like right now this is the best deal around by far. I guess, if worse comes to worse, and I upgrade in the next few years, and sold the M8000, a decent used M8000 will be worth more than superwinch or whatever else I can afford now? I probably will not mount it for a few months until I sort the charging and mounting out. I like warranties, and I like things that last a long time, and if it happens to be made in the US, instead of China, I like that too! BTW......no tax, free shipping, $505.00 out the door!!!! Thanks, Dave

There are a bunch of 80 series guys that run the M8000. There is a debate whether it is big enough or not. 60 series do weigh less as far as I know. For $500, I think it's a great deal. It's a Warn, and you can always use a snatch block to double your pull rating. Plus, you admitted that you won't use it much, so save the extra $$ for other mods and get the M8000 if you really need it. I just went through the same debate, and wound up getting a 3 ton More Power Puller (hand winch) for $150
