i have a sbc in my toy and it has an alternator from a 1995 4.3 blazer its a 5 wire alternator im having some trouble getting it to charge i have the main lug on the back going to the battery then on the plug on bottom of the alt the L terminal , i have that going to 12v switched power with an idoit lite so i start the truck and the light is off and its charging then after about 5 mins the light starts to flicker then stays inluminated and the alternator stops charging whats going on???
