5.3/6L80 VS 6.0/4L80 for those that have done it. questions

I am not looking at other options, as I have both of these combos. Please do not chime in on 8-10 speeds and also the newer engines. I know what these are and the differences in power and gearing, so I want to know:

-Do you like it?
-Would you do it again?
-Regrets?
-Not enough gearing?
-Too much gearing?
-THIS IS A BIG ONE, FITMENT ISSUES?
-Cooling issues? I would want to keep a mechanical fan

This would be going in a 96 on 35's and 4:88 gears.

No fitment issues with the 6l80. Gearing seems great. Zero cooling issues.
