Thank you all for your vote of confidence and your support. I'm trying to check in here periodically -- although I've been quite swamped with the Association.
Going forward, we'll be holding R2 meetings every second month. If you would like anyone from the Association to attend one of your meetings and to field questions/take recommendations/(take abuse?!?) please let me know -- either Scott or myself will be happy to be there.
As I discussed at your meeting a few months ago and clarified at the R2 meeting on the 17th, I intend to have the 4WDABC focus on ONLY two things this year. 1) Land and legislative issues -- For this year that means establishing ourselves as a responsible stakeholder in trail use. 2) Increase membership -- this is intended to ensure that the Association has some "clout" in order to accomplish #1.
In pursuit of #2, we are publishing a Backroader for mid July distribution -- if you have any articles that you'd like to have included in this edition, please let me know.
