I imagine you guys must have hit some decent snow... any pics, doh-moments?

Had a great day out! Lots of snow and some sun. Great group.

We started the day under a good wet snowfall. By the time we had aired down and made it to the Weaver LK turn off the snow was deep and the road was slippy. We quickly stopped our attempt at weaver and headed for hail. No one had any issues on the way other than a Jepp stoping on an uphill to talk with a quade witch then stopped everyones else. So it took them a bit to get going again. It was sujested that next time it better to keep momentum up and not stop.
After a nice break at Hail (no too long this time) we hit the road for sunrise. Steve D was in the lead and quickly it was apparent that Sunrise was not getting done as a group. So we then headed for the north end of Chehalis. Chris had lots of fun breaking trail in up to or over 2ft of fresh light snow. He had snow coming overt the hood as he traveled along. Spent some time at the north end then saw the snow start moving in again and stated our treck back. Everything went great in the front but after a uphill section we herd a call over the VHF that another truck had got stuck on a hill.....leading the two other to get pialed up behind. Guess who stopped on the hill again....the same Jeep, needless to say it was made clear again not to stop on hills. it turned out thye had next to no snow driving time and as soon as they felt it slide a bit theyhit the breaks. Thye also did not have a front tow point, when i asked why they said they had one on the back....blank stare. There was a call for us to go back and give them a tug but we wour selves had barly made it and there was not way back down to them and giving them a tug would have worked. steve D had not gone to Chehalis instaed spending time with his kids in the snow intertubing and having fun. He got Eric on the VHF and the situation was discussed, he was almost to us so he said he would come down to assist. He had chains on all 4 tires so no issues with traction. He pulled the 3 trucks out of trouble and we where underway yet again.
Overall a great day, awesome social group.
