4wd not working

Hi Everyonei brought a second hand vdjr76r cruiser today and headed for the beach when I got home, put hubs in put it in H4 and realised 4wd is not working at all.
When I got home jacked up each wheel separately and they spin and when both are off the ground they spin individually..
Any suggestions please!!!!!

I have a 100 series cruiser and a GQ patrol. I have been 4wd for many years. I know for sure it wasn't working. I also jacked up one wheel on GQ to see the difference and the GQ wheel locked straight way as it should

Jaban ,is this an australian model VDJ76? Does it have a vacuum shifter for 4wd or is it a manual shift(Ive never bothered to look in one)?

Open diffs are where one wheel on each axle has power from the engine.
