1996 KZJ78. I converted to manual hubs and swapped in the single 4H switch in place of the dual hub lock/4H switch. (The 4H connector was already in the dash but not connected) The H4 switch works correctly but the 4wd indicator in the dash flashes. The hub motor connectors are now disconnected at the hubs. The hub lock light in the dash does not come on. Is there a wiring mod with a jumper or resistor that will stop the 4wd indicator flashing? Maybe some way to tell the transfer control that the hubs are locked? Thanks.

Solved and updated for posterity- Solid green 4WD light when the transfer case is engaged. The answer is to jump pins 3 and 6 (labeled 4WD and 4LP) of the 4WD control computer under the dash just to the right of the column. This is the configuration of the manual hub models. I jumped the pins internally, the case is easy to open with bendable tabs, and there is plenty of room to access the back of the connector.
