4Runner brakes in GX?

Keep in mind the 4Runner came with two different size rotors up front. One for 16" wheels, the larger brakes for 17-18" wheels. So, best to check part numbers.

And the V8 was available with 16" wheels, so not motor dependent.

Should not need part numbers, models determined wheel size. Sports got the 18" wheels, sr5 got 17s and base got the 16s... Should just need to know year and model.

Not that easy. My SR5 came with 16s, a family members SR5 came with 17s. Both 2005.

Do they have the same brakes? I would verify with Toyota via VIN numbers.
