48: Hi-Lift jack

Just purchase a 48" inch Hi-Lift jack as my main jack. the original hydraulic jack from Toyota is a joke, barely reaching my axle.
Wanted to know some creative suggestions on where to keep it in the truck. Will it fit behind the jumpseats? Or perhaps some kind of clamp under the rear bumper.

be careful with a highlift.. they are kinda unstable. You can send me your Toyota jack.. I'll put it to good use

oh.. mount it on the front bumper.. and oil regularly.

I have a vinyl bag and typically put it behind the seats above the rear heater in my FJ40, where it barely fits. Then I take it out to do something, and it ends up in my travel trailer where there is more room. It's kindof a pain. I have front bumper mounts for it, but that won't work with the winch, so I haven't used them. Anyone looking for new, unused bumper highlift jack mounts?

I have mine mounted on the roll cage cross bar behind my seats. It fits good, but can be a pain to get out.

i mean i know a hylift can be dangerous, but aslong as you keep it straight up and down and always have a backup (Tire or somthing under the axel)... I think a Hylift is just a Nessisary Evil..
