45LV frame useful for other trucks? FJ45LWB?

I was given a 1965 FJ45LV (basket case) this week due to a overwhelmed friend deciding to not complete his FJ45lV restoration. The chassis has been redone completely with a overhauled 327 and a toyota 3 speed on the floor. New shocks and new tires. Rebuilt carb. They won't finish the restoration as the body work quotes are over $10,000 to return it to OEM. I don't want to mess with it either.

Question: Can I use the frame from the LV for a FJ45 LWB truck? And is the body of this worth anything parted out? They owe the mechanic about $2300 for the chassis rebuild and need to find the $$.

I believe that the LV shares the same frame with the short wheelbase pickup. If you were going to use if the the longer wheel base you would need to stretch it.

Thanks for the reply. I would be fine with the frame for a SWB 45. I guess I could buy a cab somewhere and build a crawler.
