45 Springs 45 SWB and 45 LV

What about the springs from Spector? Anyone use those on an LV? The springs on my LV are too far gone for anything not to mention that I'm not even sure if they are correct!

i have a set of specters heavy duty 45 springs on my LV. They fit fine haven't had them on the road yet since i'm still working on the body

Yes, those! I figure they likely fit but are probably too stiff for a wagon. Am I right or am I dreaming?

pics of springs

this whole spring issue for the LV's is giving me a headache. I have heard from several you you fellow MUDers that the original springs are good. others say to use new. here are some pics of mine along with a measurement from the ground to the inside of the arch. has anyone ever taken this measurement? or this measurement off new springs? i wonder how it compares. the first pic will be the fronts, the second will be the rears. the third pic shows the gaps in the springs unloaded. is this normal or an indication of wear? is it possible to look at springs and tell if they are worn or does it require more exacting science such as measurements or load tests?
