Have some ideas what this truck is but would like some input, please. Not for sale but it hasn't moved in over ten years - a crime, IMO. Thanks for any feedback.

As far as I could tell. all is there and all original - no rust. Is $10K in the ballpark for an asking price of this truck that would need some TLC before it moved under its own power?

Thanks Bull, I'll do some studyin' over there. Thing is, the owner says it isn't for sale but it has been used as a storage bin for over ten years and that just seems criminal to me. Thought I'd ask for some knowledgeable input here before going any further with a conversation with the owner.
 
Steve, thats kinda an oddball 45(62-3), see its a fixed top but its also a fixed one piece window frame......compare to a pick of a nornal 45 short bed fixed top and you will see what I mean.

if your even a normal sized guy......your gonna have a heck if a time fitting in the fixed top 45's.

it does apear to be in good shape and not alot of rust(from the pics) the stamped bezels are worth $200-300 and they are correct for the year. I see a old 8274 in the bed and I suspect on the front is a OEM PTO winch.

Me.......I'd be at 5K tops unless it was running well and need very little

I think(and it might even be it) there is one for sale around here that kinda matches the pics.........but I havn't see it in person

honestly, you be better off and prolly happier with a removable top short or long bed, those came out in 1964-ish
 
they can still be put on upside down...........less likely though ;)

Thanks guy's. I'm not in the market but having seen this truck being used as a junk bin for so long I finally had to try to contact the owner. He emailed me that he isn't interested in selling but if someone were to make a five figure offer, he'd listen. Seems like screwed up thinking to me and I hate to see a solid old dinosaur going to waste. It does have the PTO on front and is in CO.
 
ya know, what this seller is doing/saying seems to be pretty common with 45's owners(older ones)......don't know why, but some of these guys would rather let it rot to the ground then sell it.

he can have his 5 figures :D

I'll refrain from any old dinosaur comments.........just for today ;)

I want to go on a FJ45 rescue JIHAD! These 45s need to be rescued from those overzealous metamucil drinkin ass hats!!!!

Imagine....

Bull and Landpimp loaded up in our FJ45LPBs. My 45 used for camping gear, supplies, booze. Landpimp's 45 used for carrying HK ammo only.

We start and head south towards California liberating FJ45s everywhere..overhang what is the address? Once pimp and I have cleared California we will head to Colorado..
