New Lo-Pro 100 rack is installed!!!

Extremely happy with the new mounts and the low profile. Approx. 5/8" off the highest ridge. I weigh 260# and standing on the center of that crossbar I still have 1/2" of clearance. I can live with 1/8" of deflection over a 50" span on 1" tube all day long. The front light bar is about 3/8" off the roof.

Still need to do all my wiring and add the rear rack lights as well.

Got the new adjustable gutter mounts for 40, 55, 60, 70 and 80 series. (except High-Tops)

They are adjustable in 1/2" increments from 5-1/4" to 7-1/4". I made them a little longer on the rack mount tab to accept much narrower racks as well now.

All 3/16" mild steel with stainless hardware (YES, 1/2" thick when bolted together in some arrangements).

Waiting on the gutter clips now. These will be available in a week or so.

Thanks Rich. I still need to finish the front skid, RUCAs, RLCAs and RLCA skids. I'm looking for a smaller fridge unit for the rear drawer build. What do you have in a 35-45qt?

Guys, as the new year brings changes for Trail Tailor's line up... With focusing on RACKS AND SLIDERS from here on out, I was able to further negotiate shipping and bulk materials. So, as in the past, I will pass the savings down to all of you.

All racks are built from 1" x .083" HREW tubing. 3/4 and full length racks for 40, 55, 60, 70, 80, 100 and 200 (including the LX570) series. Expo, basket and flat platform racks. I have designed an adjustable height gutter or rail mount for each of these series.

AND AS ALWAYS, I will TAILOR any rack to your specs within reason.

Thank you for all your continued support and please let me know if you have an inquiry on pricing or questions..

See first post for new SHIPPED PRICES!!! Prices effective February 1st.

Jason

All,

With the expansion into the newer models that have rail mounting systems, I changed the mounting plates to be a little more user friendly. The new plates have a greater front to rear adjustment on the plates and right to left adjustment on the mounts at the same time.

This eases the installation with the rail mounted racks for the 100, 200, 4R and FJC racks. Plus the 40 to 80 series have even more fine tuning allowed as well.

I made these shorter and narrower to reduce the spacing between crossbars as well.

I only have a few more of the old set ups remaining so, these will be worked into production VERY SOON!

Thanks,

J

I hate this picture! But it goes to the integrity and strength of my racks/welds. Rolled piggie and the rack, while bent to hell and rolled over, is still 100% complete.

While I hate to see this picture as well so many bad memories. I can definitely say that the work on the rack and bumper is top notch. Here is a pre accident photo.
