Do you know if this is a direct replacement for a 1983 FJ60?

I'm unsure f the spline count for a 1978 fj-40. Will this trany bolt up without problem? would you ship or possibly be near MD or PA for a cruiser meet. I think coal miners classic is coming up soon. I'm in desperate need of a good tranny with no noise and good syncros. I have no idea what it would cost to ship a tranny but for 50 dollars shipping might not be too steep! thanks a million Ken
