Just fitted a 4" OME lift (OZ spec only comp springs), my castor readings were -2.5* and my wheel hub to flare measurement is 23 3/4" front and rear. I have ordered some 3* castor correction bushes as nobody in OZ makes any form of castor correction between 3* and 5.5*(plates). As I only need 3.5* to bring it back to standard( is +1* the correct castor?) I plan to use the 3* bushes and see if they work OK.

What amount of castor correction in degrees does the Slee arms correct? I would prefer replacement arms as opposed to bushes but I think the cost of importing some arms from the US would be way to dear. Does any body in Australia know of any 3.5-4* drop arms for the 80s?

Mick, on the US 80s, the proper caster range spec is +2 to +4 deg IIRC, but many folks drive them with less and say it's fine, apparently. Highly subjective, of course.

Thought I would check as the guy who did the wheel alignment seemed like he wasn't real sure what the original specs should be. Thanks e9999 for the specs. Hopefully my bushes will turn up tomorrow. I'll put them in and see what they are like. My guess is that I will still need more though. Will probably call the guy RV80 PMed me about to get some drop arms.

Sorry for the hijack HeavyD. Looking at yours makes me want to bolt my 35"s on permanently, pity they're not allowed in QLD.

Currently the QLD laws state that you are only allowed 15mm over standard for tyre diameter. As the biggest 4wd OEM tyre is a 7.50R16 even 33"s and 285/75R16s are illegal too. Having 33"s is a little bit of a grey area because IIRC Cooper A/Ts measure just under the 15mm increase so they don't pick on 33"s as much but 35"s and bigger are definately illegal. I have a set of 35/10.5R16 Simex Centipedes that only get bolted on for extreme trips. I usually trailler the tyres to the 4wd park then swap them over. If you run 35"s on the street especially down in Brisbane chances are you will get busted (they're starting to really crack down) and cop a large fine as well as the chance of having your vehicle confiscated if you're a repeat offender.
