I have a 2026 Sequoia TRD Pro - I am confused by the inverter 100/400 watt arrangement. Seems silly, almost every car I’ve owned could handle a 400 watt inverter. The 100 watt mode while driving runs my fridge fine. My problem is I would like to charge my Anker Solix Power Bank 3000 will driving. While the minimum power draw setting on the Anker is 300 watts. Of course their solution is to sell me their new DC/DC charger. That would allow me to pull more from the Sequoia electrical system.

The CaliRaisedOffRoad folks make an AC replacement harness that they show being used to rewire the ac outlet on a 4Runner to always be 400 watts. I have sent them a note asking if it will work on the Sequoia but haven’t heard back yet.

Anyone know what the technical reason is for the 100/400 watt setup?

Thx

Just to clarify, my goal is to be able to charge my Anker Solix 3000 Power Bank while driving.

I just read on a Land Cruiser Forum that the Hybrid Land Cruiser (I assume the Sequoia as well) does not have an alternator. They state that the 12 volt battery is only for “turning on the vehicle’s electronic systems and waking up the “traction battery”. The traction battery actually starts the car. My thinking is that this arrangement may prevent just connecting the DC-DC charger to the 12 volt battery?

Thx

Installed the ecoflow in mine and no issues.
