3FE Smog

HELP!

I've been to 2 smog shops today and nobody can figure out how to check the timing on my 3FE. First guy said he couldn't find the "timing port" and the second guy said he couldn't find the timing lines. I need to get this done ASAP. Any recommendations for a smog shop who knows 3FE's???

Take it to a State Test Only Facility.

I took it to two of those.

Anyway, I was able to find the timing cover plug thing and then drove back to the first smog place and showed the guy. After some cursing of Mr. T's engineers for the design, he was able to read the timing and finish the test. I'm proud to say that it passed with flying colors.

He should have to jump E1 and TE1 in the diagnostic port near the fire wall, then the time should read what the sticker says on the hood, usually 3 degrees. Sorry im late to the party.
