Does someone have an end all solution to pulley removal. Also I've noticed the bolt that causes the need for the pulley removal has a nut on some but on mine it is threaded on the backside. Anyone have any insight.

The pulley has to come off to get the bolt out. Heat up the pulley around the shaft (front and back) with a propane torch. It will come off. Might need a pry bar on the back side (hit with a hammer) to persuade the pulley to come off. If not coming then heat some more.

Thank you. Does it slide or threaded

Pulley slides directly forward and there is a woodruff key on the shaft. You might rotate the shaft where the keyway is up when you do this so not to lose the key.

Guru's, I am back again and in need of some guidance. I am removing my power steering pump off my 3FE because the PO installed a China made aftermarket pulley on my pump and it is not lining up with the rest of the drive pulleys. I have already ordered the parts (new OEM pulley, key, nut, etc.) from CDan and have them ready to put on. I have all the hardware removed except for one. Please see pic below.

How do I remove get this bolt (the one in the center of the pic behind the pulley) out so I can remove the pump. This is the only thing holding me up.

As always, thanks in advance for your guidance and help.
Where did you get the OEM pulley for a FJ80 3FE?

Same issue with the pulley blocking that bolt. Maybe blocking two others as well.

Now getting the pulley nut off wasn't hard. The pulley, even before loosening the nut, was very loose. Has all kinds of play.

Is it normal for the pulley to get stuck on there? Does the woodruff key distort and get stuck on there?

Not really sure how to pull the pulley off without a lot of force.

Edit: I'm concerned that if the pulley wobbles and is stuck now, it's not going to be serviceable on a new pump. And if I can't find a new pulley, maybe I shouldn't pull the one off?

The pump on there works, but makes a terrible noise, and the pulley has a bunch of wobble.

Pulley part number is 44311-60060, right? Can't find it on Ebay, McGeorge, or even Partsouq...

Update: I found one. $440... https://shop.cruiserparts.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_7851&products_id=901
