3FE engine, excellent cond. Price lowered to US$450

I'm converting my FJ62 to Diesel and don't need the 3FE anymore.
The engine is still in the truck and runs beautifully. Needs no oil between changes, no smoke at all, no drips. Engine has 270.000 KM on it (ca. 173.000 miles) I just put a new thermostat in it.

Price is US$450. (Firm. If I don't get this here I will part it out and sell the parts on ebay.)

I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada. You have to pay and arrange your own shipping (I will help if I can). Please take the shipping costs into consideration. Best if you pick it up yourself.
I will take the engine out of the truck within the next 2-3 weeks. Can be heard running until then.

Price does NOT include alternator, power steering pump, air condition pump etc. (all the stuff I can use on my "new" Diesel)
But buyer can sure have all the emission stuff that's attached to the engine.
Also, I will not part the engine out. You take it all or nothing.

Please only serious inquiries. Photos can be taken. Payment is Paypal as there are to many fraudulent money orders around. I can also take VISA or Mastercard through my (non Land Cruiser related) business.

bump.
Is $700 too expensive for excellent running 3FE? Even if you are not interested, it would be good if could get some feedback.

PM sent for feedback as requested. Bump to top

I think that price is resonable, but anybody could get a running fj62 with a rusty body that is drivable for about 3k. you gotta take that into consideration when somebody needs more than an engine. They can drive it home too!

What about separate?

It's probably one of those deals-the coil and ignitor are $700, comes with a free motor! Did the coil and ignitor change from the 62 to the early 80 series?
