The guide I am using says removing the air injection system is optional. How would I go about capping it without having to remove the rail? Thank you

bump! Anyone?
cap the hard pipe feeding the injector rail from the smog pump. Looking at the pictures provided above, i do not see the air injection hard pipe in the pic. Could PO removed it?

I thought that was what that valve looking think with 3 black hoses running off it was…
It’s possible. PO had a shop do an engine swap and already rerouted the belt off the air pump so it’s not functional
The pipe looks like this:
Probably the PO made the proper fix - removed the pipe and capped the air injector holes with genuine Toyota caps. If not this is their PN: 90340-14001.
