Hi all, just wondering if anyone could possibly complete this picture...
This is what is left of the sticker on my 1985 FJ62 Air intake hose..
just want to make sure I've got it right..

omg, yes it certainly does help. It's not exactly clear on where the distributor vacuum line connects to the carby. The reason why I'm asking is because I picked up a 1989 FJ62 for parts, and was going to change the carby's around so I could send mine away for a rebuild, but of course, the vac hose are slightly different.. Just really want to make sure I'm getting it right..
 
I think that the vacuum for the distributor advance is "ported" vacuum and it comes from the base of the carb, near the idle mixture screw. www.sor.com has some pictures of non-usa carbs that they all seem to have a vacuum port (or more than one) in this location. If your carb has more than one port in that location, I'm not sure what to tell you, except maybe you can figure out which one it is from where the port is located on the USA carb.

Below are pic's of the USA carb (from SOR website) and a diagram from a manual showing which vacuum port is which. The distributor port is labeled "advancer".
