Plugs for axle and pinion holes in differential housing.
Useful for power washing, scrubbing, cleaning, and painting the housing without letting any contaminants get inside. Also contains the residual gear oil so it doesn't leak everywhere.

Note: The driver's side axle plug fits into the axle extension tube (with the seal removed). The passenger side axle plug fits in the passenger side axle seal. If the seal has been removed, it will not fit.

Front Axle Delete Plugs​

Printables Link. Useful for temporary RWD operation where the front axles / diff are removed.

This plug seals off the backside of the hub where the axle would usually go, protecting the bearings and splines.
To install, I put 1 wrap of Gorilla tape around the narrower section to form a sort of gasket, then pounded in with a deadblow hammer.

I check to make sure they haven't fallen out often. For longer term operation, I would either install them with RTV or use a bungee to keep them in place.
