Mel, the A/C brackets for the 3B are nearly unobtainium!! I paid $300 for mine. You'll also need the A/C amplifier because the gasser one doesn't work (it needs a coil signal, something the diesel DOESN'T have). A friend of mine has one for sale in the diesel parts section now.
If you go with power steering you may also need to change the altenator as they are on the same bracket as the power steering pump and the geometry is slightly different on the altenator.
Check the crank pulley as well. The old ones have only two bolt holes and do not hold the power steering or altenator pulleys on. The one you need has 6 bolt holes.
As you can see, it's not that easy!

I have for those of you that may be interested, a complete PS system out a 1983 BJ 60 For Sale, this is complete down to the last nut, bolt, clip, line, bracket, hose, steering box, everything you need to have power steering in your older BJ60 with the 3B engine in it, in fact it is still in operation, waiting for the person that want's the complete package.

Its all there if you want it......not cheap, but looking for little bits or brackets will drive you nuts ( i know from personal experiance)...

price if you come and remove it $750.00 USD

price if i take it out, package it up and get it ready to ship to you is more.....I figure 6 to 8 Hrs of my time to remove and package it up for you...
