Did you convert your 60 series FF rear to disk brakes. If so, I beg you to tell me how to do this. If not, tell me where I have to go, and who I have to kill to get this set up???

If that is the axle that Peter had under Tippy a couple of years back, then IIRC it uses OEM (front) Cruiser fixed calipers and OEM (front) Cruiser rotors. Custom made mounting bracket.

I am about to put together a setup like this on an FJ40 FF rear. I haven't gotten into it too deeply yet (too many projects underway) but it looks to be pretty simple.

Yep thats the one and the bracket is very simple.

Its just a bracket that bolts on wwith three fasteners, you must make sure the plate is is bang on centre as the toyota four piston caliper does not float.

Thanks Stone, I wish I could finish it but life dictates that I change careers and go back to banging nails.

I have yet to speak with Tom, but its looking like Rob Millson might be the one to finish it.

Radd Cruisers:

I'm sorry to hear about your dilemma. You are not the first to give up the day job to work on Cruisers and then have to go back to the day job eventually. It happened to Crushers once and it has happened to Dr Rob Millson too. You'll be back, I'm certain of it. Keep your head up.

Tom, take my word for this. Rob Millson does good work. You don't have anything to worry about. I shared a shop with him for five years. We worked together, wheeled together, laughed together and cried together. He is among my very best friends and he knows how to do quality work.

Cheers,
Bruce

Bruce, I appreciate the info., but ole Rob is going to finish my truck for me!!!

He figured out a way to do it. That I am happy for.
