35's with a 2.5 inch lift

I've searched and searched but can't get the answer to my question. Can I get away with 35x12.5's on 2.5 inch OME lift on my 40.? Especially if add anti inversion shackles? I'm hearing yes and no.

Depends on how much you cut and how much you like to hear tires hit sheet metal.

If you don't go off road you will be fine, otherwise change your front fenders to tube fenders and cut the heck out of the back and you will still rub.

You do not need tube fenders, just liberal cutting.

Sure you can. Just do an SOA (spring over axle) conversion first.
