I am selling the engine that was supposed to be used in my YJ buggy that never happened. Engine was built by Automotive Specialties in Neenah, WI. It is bored .030 over, the crank measures .010/.010 on the rods and mains respectively. An RV camshaft that is fuel injection friendly has been installed, I do not have the cam card but will get it for the new owner. The cylinder heads were completely redone including surfacing. The engine is painted and partly dressed with a pulley set, p/s pump, water pump, etc. The kit is for a serpentine belt consisting of OEM parts. Inside the engine are new rockers, stainless exhaust valves, cam bearings, Kayline guides, PC seals and other high quality parts. The valve covers are on and have been painted. The heads are a good flowing casting. The timing set is new. The pistons are cast, the rods were all reconditioned. I did not skimp on anything, all good name brand parts. The engine was professionally assembled. I have some extras such as a throttle body, wiring harness, lots of sensors, new alternator, distributor, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, etc.

I paid $1500 for this engine, I am asking $1000 OBO It needs to get used. I can assist with delivery within reason. I will crate and ship if you pay. I will also guarantee the mechanical assembly to be good as it is warranted by the company that built it. It could be set up to run with a carb or propane with some timing work and changing the intake manifold.

PM for phone number. Engine is in Oshkosh, WI 54902

$1000 OBO needs to sell.

No, IMHO not needed until around 500hp. This engine will not makenearly that much power. Besides, it is stonger to use aftermarket caps with angled outer bolts.

To top, any offers?
