yes the will fit but are a pita to balance. I use to run 33x12.50 on my stock rims but I moved to a wider rim.

I have been told by a "tire guy" that the they will fit but that 12.50" tire on a 7.5" rim will cause the tread to "bow" or not be as flat as it should when in contact with the ground. So the center section of your tread is doing a lot more work than the out side tread and traction will suffer. He claims this is also the case for 10.50" tires on the 7.5" stock rims. He wasn't trying to sell me rims either, he's a friend of mine. Made sense to me so I bought wider rims for my 31"x10.50" tires. I put them on 8.5" rims which he said is a good match.

Stock rims are 6" wide by the way not sure where the 7.5" wide rim came from.

I run 33x10.5 BFG AT on stock 60 rims. Even at this width there is a noticeable wear in the center. I cant imagine putting 12.5 tires on these rims. I bet most shops wont even mount them for you. Some shops wont even mount the 10.5 if they happen to check manufacturers books first.

I was going by what this "tire guy" told me, he said they are 7.5". I can't argue the point because I did not measure myself. This guy is ultra conservative on what he recommends. I'm sure some of this is subjective. You could get different opinions from different tire shops. I wouldn't be affraid to stretch the "rules", but I was looking for an excuse for black steelies so it worked for me.

Will "33X12.50 R15" tires fit on stock rims of an FJ62 with OME lift with out any issues?

Yes, that's exactly what I had on my 62 until last week. The fit fine, the sides bulge a bit which should be expected. No real issues but I'm much more comfortable with them on 8" wide now that I've changed wheels.

I have BFG 33x12.5x15 M/T's on my '60 with a 2 1/2" BDS lift and the original rims. In articulation they DO rub in the rear wheel wells and slightly at the front as well.

Here's a poser picture of the truck with the 33's in Chiapas, MX with my kid at the wheel.

I have 33" 12.50" tires with an OME medium ride and 2" shackes and it still rubs alittle in the front but only when I turn on an incline

I have hfs lift. No rub anytime stock shackles went with the wider rims for when I want larger tires
