i noticed a white line on the inside of my tire. I go to look and I see my tire is getting sliced by the UCA. :(

I am running what I learned to be 96 Tacoma wheels.
I ran 31x10.50's on stock 95 4Runner wheels with no rub.

Are the tires rubbing because it's a 33" or is it because the rim is a different rim than the stock one?

shouldn't really be rubbing with any stock toyota wheels, they should all have at least 4.75" backspacing and a 10.5" wide tire was used on many stock rigs as a dealer or factory option.

is this truck lifted at all via the t-bars? what about alignment? just thinking that maybe your issue is a camber issue, not a wheel backspace issue.

I had 33x10.50s on my 92 with 15x8 3.75 backspacing wheels and there's no way it rubbed.

Looks like it times to finally upgrade to black steelies like everyone else does ;)
