I have a set of 16x8 alloys with 315's on my 80 series. I like the early tundra 16x7 steelies, and have seen one other guy online with that set-up. But is it safe?

I have ran 33x12.50s on 15x7s and while the tread profile was a little heavy to the middle it was in no way unsafe. It was kind of nice when aired down.
Pavement wasn't even really squirrely either but I'm sure it will depend on the tire.
