Please someone give me decent news.I've seena couple of threads posted here that address the issue I am having. My '93 $runner wouldn't start cold, so we replaced teh cold start injector and the sensor. Now it starts cold, but won't start whenI get it up to operating temp. If I start it back up with 15 or so minutes, it starts fine, but after that it, it will sputter, idle very low, backfire, and die. It starts if I use starter fluid, but then it hesitates at 2500-3000 RPM for 10-15 minutes after I get it running again. I've seen a related problem, but it was for a 3.4 liter, and then I've read the post about the injectors leaking when sitting. I also think that the intake manifold may not be seated on its' gasket, thus creating a small vacuum leak. Don't have tons of money to go out and buy new injectors, and don't wanna go chasing wild rabbits if I don't have to. Any
help?

First off, welcome to mud :flipoff2:

Secondly, I have no idea. Sorry, but maybe somebody knowledgeable will post up now!

We understand the money and we are not k9's so we do not like chasing rabbits, unless your wristy :flipoff2:

:flipoff2:

use a vacuum to check vacuum from the manifold.

look into calibrating the TPS

check timing.

check ALL ground coonections and ALL battery connections.

make sure your air filter is clean.

check connections on the AFM

thanks

pulled intake manifold yesterday and found that it was seated well, throttle body gasket was badly deteriorated, and added some injector cleaner. All seems better now, Thanks for the welcome and the advice
