Anyone have any ideas or success with headrest mount or another idea for a tablet in the second row?

You don’t like the Toyota headrest tablet mounts? I’ve used them for years after I removed those silly factory screens. iPads on the headrests are super useful for rear passengers and hold things securely out of the way.Anyone have any ideas or success with headrest mount or another idea for a tablet in the second row?
@jwmNC - Any pics of your setup?I bought a MagConnect setup from joyfactory.com. It clamps on to the post of one of the headrests and has a couple of articulating joints to adjust its position. The MagConnect universal plate is on the back of my iPad 12" case and with the magnetic + screw mount it's quite secure. bhphoto.com also sells some of the joyfactory products.
@Sandroad - I haven’t seen those. Link? You don’t like the Toyota headrest tablet mounts? I’ve used them for years after I removed those silly factory screens. iPads on the headrests are super useful for rear passengers and hold things securely out of the way.
I suppose you could get something that holds the iPad differently, but you probably won’t find anything that holds the iPad tighter to the front seat.Looking for a sleeker option if possible.

I don’t think I will like the large plastic assembly - seems bulky. Plus the solution I’m looking for would be for multiple people to watch one tablet in the 2nd row. What does this even mean? Short of a buiit-in unit, not sure you can get sleeker. Do you have a picture of what you're looking for?
Here’s a photo of the headrest mount with the tablet holder removed when not needed. It’s easy to do and not bulky. The tablet holder assembly I showed in my previous post can be pulled out and angled side to side for multiple angle viewing. I suggest you get one and try it out.I don’t think I will like the large plastic assembly - seems bulky. Found a second hand one, unused, for $40. We’ll give it a try. Here’s a photo of the headrest mount with the tablet holder removed when not needed. It’s easy to do and not bulky. Good to know! Glad this thread helped a couple folksJust some tech info... It comes with two sets of inserts:10 and 12mm.
Older T use 10mm,e.g. 97 Camry.
My LX uses 12mm.
With no insert the mount can be used for 14mm headrest rails.
The distance between rails/holes is the same, around 6",and it is fixed.
So... when buying used make sure the right size bushings are included.
Thanks to this thread I ordered one from eBay for $58 including shipping and sales tax.
In a pinch before a recent trip, I whipped up and printed a tablet holder that fits over the screen. Been on my list to refine, but I like your approach.I removed my rear monitors from my 2015 LX and have prototypes for 3D printed covers...one that holds an iPad and just a standard one...would something like this work? These are only printed with PLA but im waiting on some ASA filament to print some first editions (in black...red was just leftover filament i had)

Ill post the STL once I print in ASA and confirm the threaded plugs etc. still fit properly. In a pinch before a recent trip, I whipped up and printed a tablet holder that fits over the screen. Been on my list to refine, but I like your approach.
Yes! Love it. I also have my eye on designing and printing a switch blank that'll drop-in replace the ash tray. Anyone is welcome to beat me to itIll post the STL once I print in ASA and confirm the threaded plugs etc. still fit properly.it took me a few months to design this as I learned Fusion 360 enough to create something and melt some filament! Maybe we should post a sticky for all 3d print files for the 200. I know there's a cupholder and a few other items floating around right now.
