2nd row seat release (1 Viewer)

The release mechanism for flipping my 2nd row seats all the way forward is stuck/won’t release the seats. The lever moves forward a little, but not far enough to release the latch holding the seat in place.

I can get the seat to fold, but not flip up.

Has anyone else had this happen and found an easy solution?

Try pulling the strap that is supposed to do the same thing from 3rd row seat. You may need to play between those 2 handles to get the seat released. I had the same problem. I pulled the handle from the 3rd row seat, it didn't release the seat but it did something magic such that I was able to get the seat released by using the side handle.

I was able to get it to work by putting all my weight on top of the seat while pulling on the release.

Thanks though, I didn't even know that 2nd release pull existed!
