I know it's getting into the holidays but just wanted to get word out for all you GA guys and gals to put the 2nd Annual Mardi Krawl on your calendars if you haven't done so already. It will be April 10 - 13, 2014 at Hawk Pride Mountain ORV Park in Tuscumbia, AL again.

We've made a few changes for this coming year's event like the Endless Horizon Expedition Outfitters guys will be cooking some cajun food for us (not only can they help you trick out your ride but they are all from the New Orleans area and can cook some great cajun food) for Fri night's dinner AND we will have Matt Stell performing on Fri night as well. We are also raising money for the La Lions Camp, a non-profit that gives kids with disabilities the opportunity to go to summer camp and be just like all the other kids. This is provided FREE of charge to the families of the kids that participate in the camp. One of our own LLK members had a relative attend the camp and now he and his family volunteer lots of time and raise money for the camp through various venues. We will have a general raffle and a charity raffle. The charity raffle prize has been graciously donated by Suzy Brown from Brown Forensic Accounting. Plus we will have a charity downhill "race" but we are still working out the details on this.

Be on the lookout for the Jan - Feb Toyota Trails as there will be an ad for Mardi Krawl in there. Registration will be open in EARLY Jan. If you register BEFORE Feb 1, you will get $10 off.

You can always keep up with what's going on at our website and our FaceBook page:

I was at the event last year and rode shotgun with 4X4Steve. the park is a fun place with lots of mild trails if you need them! You can also get very challenged if you like!:eek::eek:
(That means all inclusive---You Wagon Fools!!!) The food and entertainment will be over the top!!! This Clubs Hospitality is contagious:), In Fact I vote we make it our April Club Ride!!!! I give it :flamingo::flamingo::flamingo::flamingo::flamingo:'S

Appreciate the kind words Henry. However, I need to correct one thing. The Gumbo at SCC is put on by the BSLCA. We have several cross-over members from LLK / BSLCA but they are the one's that do the gumbo. LLK has supplied the kegs for the last 2 years. Having said that, we are no strangers to cajun cooking and we are a heck of a fun bunch to hang with. This year's MK is gonna be a blast. So we hope to see a big group of you GA folks out there with us. :grinpimp:

We plan to make MK this year. We wanted to come last year but was adding some new stuff to my rig b4 Gsmtr.

We will see y'all this year and look forward to some of that good ole food!

OOPS! :o:o:o I thought ya seen one Pot-O-Gumbo ya seen them All!

Silly Me I got my Cajuns mixed up!

Seems to happen a lot since we are so "intertwined".

Just wanted to give props to my BSLCA family. I am a member over there as well as LLK and have helped with the gumbo once or twice but it's usually Larry, Scott and Paul who take the lead on that task.

I Now Love Both Clubs Equally!!!!
"Share The Love , Peace and Gumbo!!!":idea::idea:
Dang- I think I just came up with a T-Shirt Idea!!!

Also looking foward to seeing the Carollton Clan!!!

I'm seriously thinking about this ride. I know Henry and Charles are going, anybody else interested?

We are planning on going to MK!

Sent from my iPhone on the road.

Awesome Zack! I know Ted and John will probably be out. What about Nick?

I was planning on trying to make it out there again this year, but the pig roast is a couple weeks after and I cant make both in the same month...

The park is pretty cool, it reminds me of the size and accessibility of GMP, there are some fun trails and some stair steps there that are fun to play on (at least till you break a driveshaft )

Food and the Folks aint bad either!!!!
