With as fast as the holiday season flies by it is time to start making plans to go and show support for our pals down the road. We are in for our first visit to the park and hope some of yall join us.

You won't be disappointed if you make the trip.......even with some inclement weather.

Having said that, we are due for a dry, cool weather weekend at Hawk Pride. I am sure this coming Krawl is when we will get "paid" by Mother Nature. :D

Can anyone who's been there give a little rundown of the park ?

Barnwell but dosen`t stain da chrome :D and dries up way quicker & fun trails 3men 3 women baht house each separate shower sink head. camp sires were new so were muddy hope that is fixed by next year full electric & water.
nice ride up there if you go the trace:)
.
Cody or Mike ca chime in with more detail

It's 1000 acres with lots of trails. More mud than I like but as Paul said, it dries up FAST!! Mark had plans to add small cabins at some point but I have not talked with him in a while. I plan to speak with him about the RV / camping area to see what improvements have been made. And if I can swing it, I would like to make a weekend trip up there before MK14 takes place. If I get updated info from him, I will let you know. Definitely worth the trip in my opinion.

More info on Mardi Krawl........

We've made a few changes for this coming year's event like the Endless Horizon Expedition Outfitters guys will be cooking some cajun food for us (not only can they help you trick out your ride but they are all from the New Orleans area and can cook some great cajun food) for Fri night's dinner AND we will have Matt Stell performing on Fri night as well. We are also raising money for the La Lions Camp, a non-profit that gives kids with disabilities the opportunity to go to summer camp and be just like all the other kids. This is provided FREE of charge to the families of the kids that participate in the camp. One of our own LLK members had a relative attend the camp and now he and his family volunteer lots of time and raise money for the camp through various venues. We will have a general raffle and a charity raffle. The charity raffle prize has been graciously donated by Suzy Brown from Brown Forensic Accounting. Plus we will have a charity downhill "race" but we are still working out the details on this.

Be on the lookout for the Jan - Feb Toyota Trails as there will be an ad for Mardi Krawl in there. Registration will be open in EARLY Jan. If you register BEFORE Feb 1, you will get $10 off.

You can always keep up with what's going on at our website and our FaceBook page:
