2lte-swap into 3l w/heavy mod,ip,turbo & chamber ve

we are doing a huge mod on 92 lc prado(2lte to 3l) engine are 90% done just waiting for the turbocharger & intercooler to come in, will post pictures of the mods soon.wondering any one has done one & how does it turn out?

i have heard of a 2l-t turbo and set up going into a 3L hilux.

sorry been too busy & yes it runs great,feel much lighter to me,have not push it to the max yet,no intercool-running 12 lbs for the moment,lance got some pics yesterday & hopefully he will post some. surprisingly it can do burn out.

Here are some pics from my iphone, sorry the lighting was a little dark for the phone. I wasn't around for most of the swap, I dropped in when they were swapping oil pans over, since the 3L came from a rwd carry van, and the 2LTE had the extra clearance for the axle for the Prado 4x4 set-up. Also the oil pick ups on the 2LTE was slightly longer and the pan had some factory baffles built into it, to prevent oil starvation when 4 wheeling. The 3L had the mechanical injection pump, so John could put the power rod into it, while the 2LTE was electronically controlled and would require more work machining and some other mods to reprogram it, plus the 3L has a stronger head and a little more displacement. John installed the turbo manifold so it is a 3LT now.
