I have one from a 91 lj78 with 180k km and a 2lte engine in it. $300? Ran great until the timing belt tensioner broke and valves hit the pistons. The pump never had any issues or leaks. Currently pulling the engine to put something else in. Also have heaps of 2lte parts I'm looking to part with.

Hello, I see that you are in Saskatoon. I have a leaking fuel pump on the 1990 LC SX5 Prado with a 2lte diesel. 75% of the labor invovled is in the disassembly and reassembly. As such, it makes no sense to me to not replace the timeing belt. Do you know where in Canada I can buy a new timeing belt and associated parts?
