Howdy!
I took my 2H HJ60 and my dog out for a grocery run to town today and noticed something unusual while warming up.
Right off the bat, the idle was loping. No A/C, no lights on, nothing unusual. It was a rhythmic pulse, and it wasn't threatening to stall or anything, but this is a new behavior. It wasn't particularly hot or cold in the shed - just right in my opinion. The lopey idle went away after a few minutes and things were business as usual.
I've started it twice before from dead cold after installing the lengthened oil pressure relief valve and it didn't do this. I have been putting about a quart of vegetable oil in every tank of fuel for the reported health benefits, and I'm not sure whether it completely mixes, floats on top of, or sinks to the bottom of a tank of diesel.
Your thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks!
