H motor For Sale Colorado

This is an H motor that I am helping sell for my Toyota mechanic. A customer of his came in with a FJ45 troop carrier that was imported from Austrailia wanting to put a 6cyl Cummins in place of this H. The motor ran before it was removed. It has an aftermarket header system. The KM on the motor are unknown. The exact year of the FJ45 is unknown. It is believed to be a '70's vintage, but no one is sure. It has good compression, and the starter and alternator are there (12V system).

Price is $1000 OBO + Shipping.

Location is Loveland Colorado.

Man...will that thing fit where an f goes? I've got a tired f that needs replacement, but shipping would probably kill me and I don't have the funds for it as of now--wife has the check book . But I'd love to put a diesel where my f is now.

Cool. My mechanic said he'd help deliver if its close like loveland, plus he'd be a good resource for install, since he took the thing out. You got that 60 diesel-ized yet?

Does that come with all the air cleaner assembly and such to make a complete engine ? I am in Tucson and wanted to know how much the shipping would be to 85719????

Just to help clarify: I sold that motor out of my 1979 Oz spec. HJ45 troopy. it isn't a 2H. it is an H (that I tried to sell on this forum a few months back).

It did run when I pulled it at Boulder Toyota and sold it to another tech there. The motor runs good. Just needs a water pump....

Hmmm! Sounds like an interesting transaction. I may be into that. Let me know about all the stuff that comes with it besides the starter and things you mentioned in the sale. Is negotiating a option here also or is $1000 a firm offer still? What carrier company is mentioned in the price of shipping?

It comes with radiator, air cleaner, alternator, clutch and bellhousing.

I was also informed today that the starter is NOT there. The waterpump will need to be replaced.

Make an offer. we'll go from there.
