Have a 2H engine for sale. Was running before being pulled, and had no visible oil leaks. It's in poor condition and would require a full rebuild. Head gasket had failed and head has been pulled. Some of the head bolts will need replacing due to corrosion, though they all came out without any breakage.
The head has two cracks (between valves on cyl. 1 & 2) and precups are in poor condition. Piston bores are okay looking except for #3 which has some erosion to the upper side wall of the bore and would need a repair sleeve. Piston #6 clearly has a broken ring on top. Condition of bottom end of engine is unknown, as sump has not been pulled, but probably in similarly poor shape as the top end. Oil was black when drained.
Valve train is in poor shape and all the rocker tips are very worn.
Sold as core only, not including alternator. A 24 v. starter available separately for $200. Will come with engine mounts to suit 60 series install, and will include power steering pump, manifolds, rocker cover, and fan clutch. No flywheel or ring gear.
Sell for $500. Local pickup preferred (Duncan B.C.), any shipping to be arranged by buyer.
