Does it matter if the compression check is done hot or cold?
Testing hot or cold does make a difference. A dry vs wet test will make a difference also. You will just have to decide how much you trust those numbers. It’s easy to raise numbers in low cylinders by adding extra or heavy oil on a wet test. It would be nice if you could observe a fresh test being done. The numbers he gave you are 3 years old.
 
Regardless of the actual numbers (if he is in SLC they would be excellent), they are very close across the board. That is an awesome thing.

Ask how many in of Vacuum he has at idle as well.


I'd go take a look at it.
 
FSM says that 145 (maybe 147?) is nominal for a new engine. IIRC 113 is listed as minimal acceptable.

I expect to see 160-165 for a fresh 2F. I consider 120 the minimal acceptable. You want to see even compression inall cylinders. No variance greater than about 10%.
