24v vehicle alarms....question from down south. (1 Viewer)

I'm hoping to find some advice on a vehicle alarm

I have a 1990 JDM HZJ73 1Hz w/ a 24v system.

I want to have an anti theft vehicle alarm installed but most everything I can find in the US is 12v specific and running them on a 24v system even with converters appears to have drawbacks.

Does anyone here know of any 24v options?

Order one from Aus. It might take a little leg work to find a dealer to ship direct but it is do-able. We have done it in the past for different things we couldn't get in the U.S.
The nice thing about Aus. is we have free trade with them so it's pretty easy on certain items.

For a Canadian answer you might have more luck with the coastal cruisers group...

More city folk there parking in questionable neighborhoods.

And just more members in general for that matter.
We're down to 3 or 4 diehards here.
