I'm hoping to find some advice on a vehicle alarm

I have a 1990 JDM HZJ73 1Hz w/ a 24v system.

I want to have an anti theft vehicle alarm installed but most everything I can find in the US is 12v specific and running them on a 24v system even with converters appears to have drawbacks.

Does anyone here know of any 24v options that you may be using in your area?

THANKS!

Make a kill switch that hidden. Just think about it a little bit and it can be done fairly easy.
Heck you could do it to the solenoid on your injection pump......

I looked into this years ago and was told there was some available for heavy equipment. Volvo, CAT and John Deer all have 24V machinery. I did see an alarm immobilizer made for Caterpillar but it was over $600 plus installation.

As said above, a hidden kill switch is just as effective. You can run it to the fuel solenoid. Engine will crank but won't start. So thief won't waste time looking for a kill switch. You can of course run it to the starter solenoid. All you need is a relay, wire and switch.
