My yearly ritual attempt at inspiring one new soul to wheel like you've never wheeled before, here we go: TLCA Rubithon June 15th -20th. I will probably be leaving here on the 14th as things sit now.
Please, save the regrets and "maybe next year" comments and reply if you will go and want to caravan up. There maybe the opportunity to run the trail backwards, in which case we would leave north Friday June 11th, but that is not a go just yet.
If you are curious as to what you need on your rig I have compiled a list below:
-min. 33" tires, but 35's preferred.
-min OME 3" lift
-Sliders
-Lockers front and rear
-Rear bumper for the ledges ( I think it can be done with the stock bumper if you remove the plastic corner marks and hit drop offs square.
If you are running minimum everything I would also recommend a X-case skid plate and removing the flares. Body damage does happen, how much depends on your driving style, and EVERYONE gets love from the trail (some more than others
, and you'll learn to love your battle wounds).
This is the best trail run with the best crew you can run it with. No matter what your skill level you will love this trail. Cheers
