20r Stalls at first then takes off

Ok i really thought this one would be a piece of cake to google and or search here but so far not so much. My yota decided to act up today where it runs fine (maybe a bit less power) but when you first step on the gas or even let off to go around a corner and step back into it a little or lot it stalls.... Then about a second later it takes off. It is hot here so I thought maybe vapor lock so I pulled the fuel cap with no luck. It also comes and goes sometimes. Could it be the accelerator pump in the carb?

ok i tried everything in the book with no luck and then I noticed the gas looked high in the sight glass so I pulled the drain plug with it off and watched it as it filled back up which it filled to the appropriate level. I went ahead and threw some vise grips on the fuel line and it ran perfectly. I pulled the vise grips and took it for a test drive and it purred like a kitten..... I have a 7 psi electric and I think it just was pushing by the float valve. It is going to be a problem in the future as well but it temporarily is up and going. For others who find this in the future I need to put a pressure regulator on there
