Here is a youtube video describing all the trail closures in and around Big Bear for the next 3 months.

It is always advisable to check with the local governing body on trail conditions before venturing out.

No need for anger on this one IMHO. Prudent to close due to the shear amount of snow now and the mud that will result as it all melts. Trail usage in extremely muddy conditions is not only dangerous but foolish. It'd also cause alot of unnecessary damage wheeling trails that are extremely muddy.

No, not when it causes unnecessary damage to trails.

That’s why we hate mud. It really messes up the trails and everything else.
