So I have a 2016 LC200 with 55k, black leather, rear seat entertainment package, and barlywine in color (not my 1st choice, but has now grown on me because I don't really see it) but the local dealership just got a 2017 LC200 Pearl White with black interior and rear seat entertainment package with 27k for $61,142. So I'm asking you all, would you do the trade? The only difference that I can remember is the power tailgate and remote FOB? Is there anything else that is different?

No idea about the value proposition.

I just traded in a 2017 - no power liftgate on it.

BTW, my '17 was brandywine mica - 2020 is Blizzard Pearl. Living in Florida - white body definitely keeps the vehicle cooler when left out in the sun.

Wife thought the 2020 was smaller - has to be a color perception thing.

I have a 2017, confirm no power tailgate and same old remote fob. I believe the 2018 includes those updates. Not sure if there are any real differences in the 2016/2017.

In this instance, I would not trade. Looks like the only difference is color. If you want to spend money for a different color then you could wrap the one you have. My $0.02.

I'd keep the current, because you don't see too many in the barleywine. I personally like that maroon looking color.

I wouldn't trade that soon from a dollar perspective, but I also wouldn't buy a maroon vehicle.

Since it is below 36k miles you can easily get the extended warentee for about $1000

things i remember are
power hatch
the tail gate doesn't drop has controlled drop
has a newer map
some came with remote start and some did not it was an option, i think the part is about $360
i personally have the rear entertainment center .. and I'm going to replace it and install ipads.

In cali the white is way cooler in the heat and looks cleaner.

I would switch them out, you're probably not much difference in price there.. The dealer here offered me almost 60k for my 2016.

the 2017 has 8 speed transmission. Does the 2016?

save up more pennies and buy a 2018+. Consider the terra leather too. Looks great imho.

Just curious, how much are you being asked to add to take the 2017 home? With tax, my hunch is it will be about $15K. Am I in the ballpark?

I agree, might as well go 18. Decent deals to be had and I really like the terra leather.

What's this "barlywine"?

Y'all sure you don't mean "Brandywine" - which is an actual LC color?

That said, maybe the OP should change cars to get a color that he can remember - "white" - even if it makes little fiscal sense.
