Hey Guys -

One thing I love about my 2008 is the ability to keep the screen off 100% of the time and only having it show information when I change a station or volume. On the 2008-2011 there was a display button, and turning off the screen was a breeze. By off I mean, zero illumination whatsoever.

Do the 2016+ trucks operate in the same way? Can you turn the screen off and only have it display information when you change a station / track or volume? How many steps to make it happen?

Thanks!

Yes, there is a screen off function in the display menu. I use it on trips when navigating with Google Maps on my iPad, which covers the factory screen. As I recall, it’s 3 steps, including swiping over to the screen off button. (Might be only 2).
