Not sure if posted here already (didn't see it on quick look), but thought the below was a pretty neat article on someone who is not very experienced with off-roading taking a 2016 land cruiser off road.

(I got the feeling that the driver didn't really know/understand how to fully operate the vehicle [not sure he fully appreciated what locking differentials are, and when to use them], but overall the guy seems like a legit car enthusiast which makes him alright in my book any day)

Thanks for posting, he is a genuine car guy albeit a little on the goofy side.
He has a great sense of humor and he is a LC fan, it's his dream car.
He usually buy weird cars and blog about the ownership experience for a year.
His series on his Range Rover is hilarious and truly shows how poorly built they are.
He also had a hummer h1 and a Ferrari. All bought used. He has now a used Aston Martin he blogs about.
But as you mentioned he does not know much about wheeling.
