We just got the wife's '16 LC and are loving it so far. However, one thing we did notice is we can't get the phone to show up on the "home screen" as I can in my 2017 T4R. I usually have the 3 tile layout, with the map on the entire right half, the phone options on the top left and the radio on the bottom left half.

Are there any other toyota owners that can assist or is this just a difference between the '16 and the '17?

FWIW, we have downloaded available over the air updates to both cars today, it did not allow for the phone stuff to show on her LC.

Thanks,
-Chris

By phone options what do you mean, what does it look like? I can check.

home screen sucks anyway as doesn't stay on and you need to press each time you turn on the car. Toyota still needs to fix it as this is the only screen that doesn't stay on

The top image is my wife's LC, the bottom is my '17 T4R. She likes having the phone favorites on the home screen and we can't seem to find the option like in my 4runner.

Anyone able to do this on a '16 or older LC?

Thanks,
-Chris

I agree, but it is still leaps and bounds better than my 2016 Xterra pro-4X. And to be honest, now that I think about it, if I turn my '17 T4R off while on the home screen, that's the screen showing when I start it in the mornings.

Looks like they have it working properly for T4R. I like the home screen as well, but don't feel like keep pressing it every time. Time to install android interface and just mirror phone
