As designed, the GX ought to have a buttery smooth ride. Mine does, even with Ironman lift springs and nitro shocks. Definitely something worn out in the one you sold. My GX rides WAY nicer than any of my other 4 Land Cruisers ever did, and it's lifted, bigger tires, and 193k miles.

Interesting… a Bahamian import… I can’t imagine the use then on an island at 138k miles.

Vehicles 1/2 of that mileage seemed to be beat to sh1t where a brother-in-law lived up in Bethel, Alaska. Roads to nowhere there.
